- Andy Horncastle Review added: 2018.12.07★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆All I can say is a very rude landlady. A new jukebox being installed with a volume problem. Showing the engineer the volume was turned up(deafening) and down, maybe 20 times in a few mins. When we asked her to stop we were told our custom was not wanted. Could explain why this pub was empty and other pubs in thirsk were busyish. With her in charge that pub is doomed. Avoid it unless you want to be insulted. Worry for any bank who has invested with them.
